第一系列（2005-6）的最後一部。撇開(kāi)未看過(guò)的第一部不論，#13 無(wú)疑是其餘十二部裡拍得最好的。
對於北歐幾位著(zhù)名的推理作家而言，推理小說(shuō)絕不只是純娛樂(lè )。除了慣有的社會(huì )批判，Mankell 的作品 -- 藉由主角 Kurt Wallander 不斷地檢視自己來(lái)呈現 -- 又多了個(gè)人的內在省察。但是，這並不表示如果談的主題愈偉大，作品的成績(jì)就愈好；我覺(jué)得 Mankell 有時(shí)還是有不夠到位之處。
不知是否因為是系列作的最後一部，可以放手一搏（對原作者和對製片公司），戲劇張力在此突然緊繃起來(lái)，甚至不免懷疑前幾集有些地方的人物描寫(xiě)是在為這集預先暖身。另外，令人訝異的是其中嚴苛的自我批評，大眾娛樂(lè )很少對主角這麼嚴厲吧。這篇影評有劇透
